Da Pretty Boyz: Taking Good Music To Florida and the Masses

There more than just the weather that is making Florida a hot spot right now. There is also the music, and adding to the heat are J Remy 21, Mack 21, Cam 20, Ceasor 19, Marc 18 known collectively as Da Pretty Boyz. The boys are on fire right now with music that fans are enjoying and the world seems ready to embrace. What started in their home state has become too big or important to remain there, but the guys will always remember where it all started and to whom they owe their success.

In this exclusive interview with Conversations LIVE!, Conversations Magazine and their literary supporters, they talk about what makes them unique, where they see themselves going and how you can stay in touch with them on their journey.

First, guys, thanks for talking with us. How long have you all been singing as a group?
We've been singing together two years as a group, but individually we all been at this since babies.

What do you think separates you from othere groups out there?
We are well rounded and intouch with all styles of music. That's what makes us different. We're not just doing one thing.

Has it been difficult to get the word out about yourselves and the music you make?
Yes its always a battle when you dealing with music or anything you do in life. It was a blessing Florida Boy Entertainment beleived in us and open some doors for us. We couldn't have on our own, and schooled us that first you got to show love to the DJs or you will never make it.

What has been the biggest challenge for you since you have been performing as a group?
Keeping all of our different personalites in check. See we all have a different style and sometimes we want to go five different ways on a track. That's what separates us from others. And realizing that this is a job no matter how much fun we may have sometimes. At the end of the day its a business.

You all have a universal sound. Who would you say are your influences?
We really respect The Jackson 5 and New Edition.

If you could open up for someone who would it be?
I would like to see a big New Edition reunion and they do a tribute to The Jackson 5 and we open up the tribute for them.

The single that is getting alot of attention right now is Tonight. Tell us about it.
A West heard the beat in ATL and thought we should do it, so on our next trip back up there we wrote it in the truck on the highway. It happened just like that.

If you could look forward 5 years in the future, where would you like to see yourselves?
Multi platinum artist with a few Grammys and working on more hits and most of all grounded with our higher power. That's always more important.

Any advice you want to give to other aspiring singers that may be looking up to you?
Keep working hard, never let up even in the darkest of hours. Nothing happens overnight but enjoy the ride.

What would you like to say to your fans?
We truly appreciate you and we in the studio working on giving you what you love: more good music.

Thanks for your time. Where can our readers find out more about you online?
You're welcome. Thanks for the opportunity. You can find us at www.myspace.com/daprettyboyzofficial or our fan site which is www.Daprettyboyzfanclub.com.
